A. WARRANTY SERVICE

If your appliance is less than one year old, you must provide a valid Bill of Sale (BOS) and a clear photo of the Model/Serial Tag before warranty service can be scheduled. These documents are required to verify entitlement and must be submitted before any appointment is booked.

Warranty coverage is determined solely by the manufacturer and is limited to mechanical and electrical defects as described in your owner’s manual. Customers are encouraged to review their warranty booklet to understand what is and is not covered.

Third-Party Warranty Providers

Customers with extended or third-party warranties must contact their warranty company directly to initiate a service work order. Do not schedule an appointment with us until your provider issues a work order. We will contact you once authorization is received.

If your warranty provides partial coverage, you must obtain written entitlement from your warranty company before service. Coverage cannot be added, modified, or validated during or after the repair. Any uncovered portion will be billed directly to the customer.

B. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Effective September 1, 2026, warranty coverage excludes the following:

  • Cosmetic or nonfunctional repairs
  • Customer education or usage instruction
  • Installation corrections (covered only within 30 days of purchase)
  • Failures caused by anything other than defective materials or workmanship
  • Damage caused by abuse, misuse, improper installation, chemical exposure, or transportation
  • Damage to clothing or appliances caused by foreign objects
  • Failures caused by worn or cracked hoses
  • Consequential or secondary damages
  • Failures caused by homerelated issues (Examples but not limited to: neglect, lack of maintenance , shutoff valves, clogged drains, blocked dryer vents, lint buildup, foreign objects, etc.)

If any exclusion applies, the service becomes billable and payment is required.

C. OUT-OF-WARRANTY / BILLABLE SERVICE

For appliances not covered under warranty, the In-Home Trip & Diagnostic Fee is $125.00 per appliance. This fee is non-refundable and due at the time of service.

After diagnosis, the technician will prepare an itemized estimate including parts and labor. Estimates typically require 1–4 business days if research is needed. Estimates are delivered via email or SMS.

To perform repairs, appliances may need to be moved. Modern flooring materials can be soft, and appliances may adhere to or depress the surface. Movement may cause scratches, tears, or marks.

By signing the work order, the customer acknowledges:

  • Advance Appliance is not responsible for flooring or surrounding area damage caused by necessary appliance movement
